The "Last On, First Off" Rule
Always make your jewelry the last thing you put on in the morning and the first thing you take off at night.
Avoid Chemicals: Apply perfumes, lotions, and hairsprays before putting on your earrings. These products contain chemicals that can wear down the gold plating over time.
